At SYNERGY, young performers explore musical theatre through our Theatre Production program — a group ensemble experience for ages 8–13 where students build skills in acting, singing, and dance, and finish with a live, Disney-inspired showcase for family and friends.

Musical theatre is the rare art form that asks students to do it all at once — tell a story, carry a tune, use their body, and do it as part of an ensemble. That combination is also what makes it one of the most powerful things a young person can do for their confidence, focus, and sense of self.
At SYNERGY, musical theatre is taught through our Theatre Production program, which runs at Paul Palleschi Recreation Centre in Brampton. It's built as a full arc: from the first day of ensemble work through to a live showcase for parents at the end of the program. No student is left in the wings — everyone has a role, and everyone gets on stage.
View Program Details →The program follows a deliberate arc — building skills, building ensemble, and building toward a live performance.
Warm-ups, games, and exercises that build trust, listening, and physical awareness. Students learn to work together as an ensemble — the foundation of everything that follows. No prior experience needed.
Students explore their roles, develop characters, and begin working scenes, songs, and movement sequences. Acting, voice, and physicality are woven together throughout this stage.
The ensemble comes together in full rehearsal — polishing, refining, supporting each other. The program ends with a live performance for an invited audience of parents and guests. Everyone performs.
Musical theatre asks students to integrate skills usually taught separately. In this program, acting, singing, and movement are developed together — because that's how they're used.
Musical theatre at SYNERGY is offered through our Theatre Production program — here's how it runs, where it meets, and how to join.
The live performance at the end of the program isn't just a nice-to-have — it's the reason the whole arc exists. Working toward a real audience changes how students rehearse, how they support each other, and how much they grow.
Parents and family members are invited to a final showcase where the ensemble presents the material they've built over the program. Every student performs. Every student has a moment.
