Piano Lessons For Preschool
SYNERGY piano teachers' preferred curriculum for young beginner piano lessons is Music for Little Mozarts. This fun and interactive series guides younger children through their piano classes with age appropriate pieces and technique. The colourful workbook and lesson book uses fun characters like Mozart Mouse and Beethoven Bear to engage young pianists.

In these piano lessons, we use the SYNERGY Method piano books combined with the Alfred's Premier series, Boris Berlin and Dozen a Day books. They take beginner piano students through the foundational techniques and tools to succeed. Piano classes will help you learn to confidently read and understand sheet music while also focusing on proper posture and performance etiquette.

Music Theory Lessons
Why Study Theory?
Our piano classes are one of few in Brampton and the GTA that includes your theory class back to back with your piano lessons. Join us in the studio or online for an additional 30 minutes for as low as $12!
Why study theory? Not only is this a compulsory requirement in the RCM curriculum starting in level 5, it supports your learning and understanding of the music you're playing. We break the music down to help you read notes, rhythm & identify harmony with confidence.
Lesson Structure
Our most popular program is our one hour piano lessons starting at only $43.75, which includes a 30 minute private piano lesson and a group theory class. A proven successful approach that includes theory in a different setting, specially designed for students with A.D.D. and other needs. Synergy is one of the few Brampton music academies that offer music theory as part of the regular lesson!
Private Piano Lessons
Our piano lessons also offer a $12 add-on that is a dedicated music theory class. Theory provides a strong foundation in note-reading, rhythm, analysis & technique to support students' progress whether they choose to play 'just-for-fun' or move through programs like the Royal Conservatory of Music.

Theory Lessons
Our program is designed to provide a balanced, engaging & highly effective approach to music education. Students receive both personalized instruction & a collaborative, social learning experience.
This integrated approach is not only highly successful but is also designed to support students with A.D.D. and other unique learning needs. By separating the theory portion into a group setting, we foster a positive & supportive environment where students can learn, engage & interact with their peers.
Group Piano Lessons
This program is available for guitar, voice and piano. Suitable for beginner students. Our music teachers provide students with an introduction to playing and reading music. Fun games, new friends! If you're interested in a short term program or an introduction to the instrument without the commitment, this program if for you. Classes are designed for ages 5-8 and 9-13.

History & Harmony Lessons
Study theory at all levels, including RCM harmony level 9, 10 and ARCT online or in-studio Brampton.
Our history courses include visual, audio, and exam prep support for RCM 9, 10 and ARCT. We use a customized, tested curriculum with easy to follow worksheets to make the material easy to understand.
Recitals
At SYNERGY Music Academy, we believe that music education is not just about learning an instrument—it’s about building a community of passionate, creative individuals who share their love of music. That’s why we offer multiple opportunities throughout the year for students to connect, perform, and grow together.
In addition to regular piano lessons and music instruction, our students engage in a wide variety of social and performance-based events that help foster community spirit, confidence, and a deeper connection to their musical journey.
- Our Annual Concert is one of the most anticipated events of the year, where students of all ages come together to perform in a grand showcase. Whether you’re playing solo, in an ensemble, or as part of a group, this concert is a wonderful opportunity to shine.
- SynergyFest is an exciting festival that features performances from our students. It’s a celebration of music, creativity, and the SYNERGY community providing a platform for students to gain valuable performance experience and receive feedback from expert judges.
- At the Festival of Stars, our students are given the chance to perform on stage and be recognized for their musical talents. Whether you’re participating in a competition or simply sharing your latest piece, the Festival of Stars provides students the opportunity to win trophies, awards and scholarships
Exams
We encourage students of all levels to participate in regular music exams, helping track progress and set goals. You can choose from the well-established Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) program to work towards high school credits and a diploma, or opt for a more relaxed, personalized program designed just for fun and creativity.
Accompanists
Need an accompanist?
Synergy senior students and teachers are available to accompany you on piano for your exams, auditions and performances. Contact us well in advance with scheduling, location and sheet music details. Included with your fee is rehearsal time, travel to and from the location for our pianist as well as the time it takes them to prepare for your audition. Contact us for more information.
