More than lessons β a full musical journey. Skilled teachers, a curriculum built for kids, and a performance program that gives students real goals to work toward every year.
SYNERGY has been teaching children in Brampton for over 30 years. Our approach to kids' music education is rooted in one simple idea: when children genuinely enjoy what they're learning, they keep going.
Every child who walks through our doors gets a teacher who is skilled, patient, and genuinely invested in their progress β and a program that adapts to how they learn, not the other way around. We teach to the student in front of us, not to a fixed lesson plan.
Theory is woven into every lesson from the start. As students get older and more advanced, our dedicated group theory classes and a full performance calendar give them deeper roots β and real goals to work toward throughout the year.
Book a Trial Lesson βWe don't teach a 5-year-old the same way we teach a 12-year-old. Age-appropriate curriculum, pacing, and materials make a real difference in whether a child sticks with music long-term.
One of the things that sets SYNERGY apart is how much we invest in giving students real performance experiences throughout the year. Kids who have something to prepare for β a recital, a festival, a recording β practice with a purpose that's hard to manufacture any other way.
Every year SYNERGY holds a Composition Competition β and it's open to all students, including kids. There's something genuinely special about hearing a child say "I wrote this." Students submit an original score meeting the criteria for their level, and entries are adjudicated with real prizes and recognition.
It's one of the most creative, rewarding things a student can do β and one of the most unique things SYNERGY offers.
Every private lesson student and group theory student earns Beethoven Bucks by setting goals with their teacher and achieving them. Goals can be anything meaningful β a practice target, a theory milestone, a performance achievement. When the goal is met, the Bucks are earned.
Those Bucks can be spent at the Maestro Mart β our real, physical in-studio rewards store. Candy, toys, stickers, pens, notepads, and the wildly popular hand-crocheted amigurumi made by our own staff (currently on a waitlist β they're that good).
Kids who have something to work toward β beyond the music itself β stay motivated. The Maestro Mart gives every student a reason to arrive at their next lesson proud of what they've done.
Learn More About the Maestro Mart βMost parents don't sit in on lessons β and that's completely normal. Our teachers work directly with your child in a focused, one-on-one environment. But the support you provide at home between lessons makes a genuine difference to how quickly your child progresses.
You don't need to know anything about music to be a great musical parent. What matters most is consistency, encouragement, and showing your child that you think what they're doing is worth doing.
